Job summary

Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, VA is hiring a Full-Time Registered Nurse for the Labor, Delivery and Postpartum (LDRP) unit. This is a night shift position with required call; cross training into postpartum is encouraged.

Ideal applicants will have 2 years RN experience in women's health, LDRP experience preferred, and BSN or MSN preferred. Certifications include RN license, NRP within 6 months, BLS within 90 days; EFM and OB nursing certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Registered Nursing
• BSN or MSN preferred
• 2 years of acute care RN experience in Women's health preferred
• Labor and Delivery experience preferred
• RN license required
• NRP within 6 months of hire
• BLS within 90 days of hire
• EFM preferred
• Certified Obstetrics Nursing preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide night shift RN care in LDRP unit
• Cross-train into postpartum as needed
• Coordinate with obstetric teams to ensure patient safety
• Support high-quality maternity care in a fast-paced setting
