Job summary

Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery on night shifts with required call. Experience in Labor and Delivery and cross-training into postpartum is preferred.

The LDRP unit features a 24-bed postpartum area, Level II newborn care, and a 100‑plus‑member cross‑trained team. The hospital offers a sign-on bonus up to $20,000, competitive hourly pay, shift differentials, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Registered Nursing.
• BSN or MSN preferred.
• NRP within 6 months of hire.
• BLS within 90 days of hire.
• Registered nursing license required.
• EFM—Electronic Fetal Monitoring preferred.
• Certified Obstetrics Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide RN care in L&D during night shifts.
• Cross-train into postpartum and support newborn care.
• Communicate effectively with patients and providers.
