Origin Travel Nurses is seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum for a 13-week contract in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced environment, providing nursing care for laboring and postpartum patients.

The role includes administering medications, fetal monitoring, and assisting in various delivery methods, alongside providing education to new mothers. Night shift hours are from 19:00 to 07:00.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced LDRP environment.
• Ability to provide comprehensive care for laboring and postpartum patients.
• Strong collaborative skills in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to laboring patients.
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs.
• Assess fetal heart tones and conduct fetal monitoring.
• Assist in labor induction, Cesarean sections, and vaginal deliveries.
• Provide postpartum care and education to new mothers.
