Job summary

Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Acute Care ICC / Multisystem PCU. This 33-bed unit is adjacent to the ICU and provides step-down care with specialized drips. Night shift 7pm–7am on a rotating weekend schedule, three 12-hour shifts, full-time status.

Graduate of an approved nursing program; Florida RN license or valid multistate license; BLS required; ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC as needed. Minimum 1 year of RN experience in acute care settings is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• State of Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license.
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs and develops an individualized plan of care.
• Evaluates progress toward expected outcomes.
• Communicates with medical staff and interdisciplinary team.
• Acts as patient and family advocate.
• Precepts, charges, or serves as unit educator as needed.
• Maintains knowledge of growth and development to address age-specific needs.
