Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intermediate Care Unit during the night shift in Arlington Heights, IL. This full-time role requires 36 hours per week with hours from 7:00pm to 7:30am and every other weekend.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's degree or BSN and is licensed to practice in Illinois with CPR certification. The nurse will perform patient assessments, coordinate care plans, and communicate effectively with patients and families.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current licensure to practice nursing in Illinois is required.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly with patients and care teams in person, over the phone and in writing.
• Individualizes patient and family teaching based on assessed needs.
• Participates in evaluating nursing practice quality through quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintains knowledge of current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.
