Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intermediate Care Unit in Arlington Heights, IL. This night shift role covers 7:00pm to 7:30am with every other weekend, a full-time position at 36 hours per week.

The successful candidate will provide patient assessments, care coordination, and family teaching to support safe, timely interventions. Required qualifications include an Associate's degree or BSN, IL nursing license, and current CPR certification.

Qualifications

Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
Current Illinois nursing license.
Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

Provides patient assessment and collection of health data with patient, family and care team.
Coordinates plan of care to ensure safe, timely interventions.
Communicates clearly with patients and colleagues in person, by phone and in writing.
Individualizes patient and family teaching based on assessed needs.
Participates in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice.
