Qualifications

• BSN or ADN required with commitment to obtaining BSN within 5 years.

• Current CPR required; willingness to obtain NRP/PALS/ACLS/APHON as determined by manager.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care using a Family Centered approach.
• Assesses individualized patient needs and communicates care priorities to the team.
• Plans, implements, educates and evaluates care using Evidence-Based Practices.
• Utilizes Therapeutic Communication while monitoring the needs of patients and families.
• Engages in the workplace community, participates in data collection/auditing and reports updates to staff.
• Documents according to organizational standards, policies and procedures.

Education

BSN or Associate degree with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years

Registered Nurse license in the state of Ohio

Current CPR certification

Willingness to obtain NRP, PALS, ACLS, APHON or other required certifications
