Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital Inc is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shift in Columbus, OH. The role requires a BSN or an ADN with a commitment to obtain a BSN within five years. You will provide developmentally appropriate patient care and lead a care team using evidence-based practices.

License in Ohio is required along with CPR certification; willingness to obtain NRP, PALS, ACLS and APHON as needed. Benefits eligible with shift differentials apply.

Qualifications

• BSN or Associate degree with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current CPR certification.
• Willing to obtain and maintain NRP, PALS, ACLS, APHON or other necessary certification as determined by your manager based on business unit.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care using a Family Centered approach.
• Assesses individualized patient needs and communicates with the care team.
• Plans, implements, educates and evaluates care using Evidence-Based Practices.
• Documents according to organizational standards, policies and procedures.
• Engages in quality improvement and reporting updates back to staff.
