Job summary

Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse for 36 hours per week on the night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) with every other weekend and holiday rotations. Base pay starts at $36.90 per hour, plus applicable shift differentials, with benefits eligibility.

The RN provides safe, patient-centered care, collaborates with the care team, adheres to the ANA Code of Ethics, and maintains Ohio RN licensure. A BSN progression plan is expected within five years of hire.

Qualifications

• BSN or Associate degree with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire, required.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients to move safely through their episode of care.
• Delegates, directs, oversees and provides developmentally appropriate patient care.
• Maintains ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses and promotes patient advocacy.
• Communicates patient care needs to LPNs, PCAs, unit coordinators, and Allied Health staff.
• Plans, implements, educates and evaluates care using Evidence-Based Practices.
• Documents according to organizational standards, policies, and procedures.
