Job summary

OhioHealth in Columbus, OH is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join Medical Unit 1 on the night shift. You will provide general nursing care across the continuum, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support patients and families.

The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, ensure compliance with Ohio Nurse Practice Act, and maintain high reliability, safety and quality as part of a 24/7/365 department.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio and/or current RN license in good standing with a multi-state compact state.
• BLS certification required as part of the qualifications.
• BSN degree required within 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
• Perform initial and ongoing health status assessments and document plans.
• Lead and participate in process improvements to enhance quality and safety.
• Delegate tasks to LPNs and UAPs per Ohio Nurse Practice Act.
• Provide patient- and family-centered nursing care 24/7/365.
