Job summary

Mercy Memorial Med/Surg Unit is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse for night shift. You will deliver patient care using the nursing process, perform assessments, develop and coordinate a care plan, and ensure safe medication administration across hospital departments.

As part of Mercy Health, you will advocate for patients, participate in quality improvement, and educate patients and families while maintaining professional practice standards and efficient use of resources.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license in the state of practice
• Associate degree in nursing or diploma with RN licensure
• BSN preferred for advanced roles

Responsibilities

• Conducts initial and ongoing patient assessment with the care team
• Creates and implements a plan of care and evaluates outcomes
• Administers medications safely per state regulations and policies
• Serves as care coordination contact across hospital departments and with patients
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives and uses best practices
