Job summary

Mercy Hospital South is seeking a Registered Nurse for Med Surg 5E to providedirect patient care using the nursing process. You will coordinate care with other departments, safeguard patient rights, and ensure confidentiality while upholding Mercy Service Standards.

The role involves night shifts, full-time schedules, and opportunities to grow clinical skills in a diverse medical unit. Mercy emphasizes teamwork, safety, and compassionate care across the healthcare continuum.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following.
• Current Missouri RN license or compact licensure per state regulations.
• Hospital nursing experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process and maintain accountability.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and multidisciplinary teams.
• Evaluate care effectiveness and uphold patient rights and confidentiality.
• Maintain Mercy Service Standards in all duties.
