Mercyhealth is seeking a registered nurse to provide patient-centered care using the nursing process across a night shift schedule. Responsibilities include assessment, care planning, medication administration, and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure safety and a positive patient experience.

The role involves documentation, care plan development, and participation in performance improvement and professional nursing activities, with ADN required and BSN preferred, at a 30-hour weekly

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• ADN required upon hire, BSN preferred.
• May require specific years of applicable experience to qualify.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments per policies and standards.
• Documents according to standards of care.
• Performs assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care.
• Develops and executes patient care plans as prescribed by Physician and policy.
• Participates in performance improvement activities and shared governance.
• Supports longitudinal plan of care across units using clinical guidance.
• Escalates safety and patient experience concerns through proper channels.
• Engages in professional nursing continuum and peer review.
