Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a registered nurse to provide compassionate care in a clinical setting. Work includes nights, weekends, holidays, and on‑call hours with shifts and potential unit float based on staffing needs.

The nurse will administer medications, document care, and participate in care planning and performance improvement initiatives while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• ADN required upon hire, BSN preferred.
• RN license in state of practice; CPR/BLS certification required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Documents according to standards of care and performs assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care.
• Develops and executes a patient plan of care as prescribed by Physician or policy.
