RWJBarnabas Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medical/Surgical Telemetry department in New Jersey. The position is hourly with a two 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM–7:30 AM, 24 hours total).

Responsibilities include patient assessments, safe administration of meds, care coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and thorough EMR documentation to ensure continuity and safety. NJ RN license and BLS required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Active NJ RN license in good standing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
• Experience with EPIC EMR or similar healthcare IT systems.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes to intervene early.
• Administer medications and treatments safely with strong clinical judgment.
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record to ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate timely patient care.
• Educate patients and families to support post-discharge planning and safety.
