Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence - East Campus in El Paso, TX seeks a Night Shift Registered Nurse to provide direct clinical care for assigned patients, oversee nursing staff, and ensure safe, high-quality care per policy.

Responsibilities include administering medications, coordinating patient care within the nursing process, and participating in hospital incident command during emergencies. Candidates must hold an active nursing license and BLS, with ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of RN experience for PRN status.
• Recent acute care experience preferred.
• Licensed to practice nursing; BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical patient care per shift.
• Supervise staff delivering patient care.
• Administer medications safely per hospital policy.
• Perform HICS responsibilities during emergencies and disasters.
• Coordinate patient care within the prescribed medical regimen.
• Know and follow hospital emergency codes and policies.
