Job summary

CHRISTUS Health in Texas seeks a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care for an assigned group of patients during a 7PM–7AM shift. You will assess, plan, and deliver care while supervising LVN/LPNs and nursing aides to ensure quality outcomes.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, update care plans, and educate patients and families. Active RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS within grace periods are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Six months to a year of experience as an RN.
• RN License in state of employment or compact.
• BLS required.
• Graduate Nurse Permit eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Meets expectations of the OneCHRISTUS competencies (Leader of Self/Others/Leaders).
• Develops and updates comprehensive nursing care plans.
• Implements and documents patient care as planned.
• Evaluates patient responses and progres with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provides teaching and mentors new staff and orientees.
