Job summary

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN licensure is required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in performance improvement initiatives.
• Conscientiously evaluates and integrates evidence-based practice into clinical care.
• Conducts and documents accurate clinical assessments.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates the patient’s individualized plan of care.
• Uses professional nursing judgment to tailor the plan of care based on patient needs.
• Manages own patient assignment by delegating and coordinating with the team.
• Develops a comprehensive educational plan for patient and family, and documents accordingly.
• Supports discharge planning with resources and referrals including community resources.
• Supports the development of new staff and precepts others.
• Participates in professional development and departmental committees as needed.
