Job summary

Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL, seeks an RN for the 4E General Medical Unit. This full-time role offers 36 hours per week with shifts 7:00pm–7:30am and every other weekend, located in a busy health system. You will assess patients, coordinate care, and educate families while collaborating with physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Illinois nursing license in good standing.
• Current American Heart Association CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient assessment and collect health data from patient, family, and care team.
• Coordinate plan of care to ensure safe, timely and appropriate interventions.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families and colleagues in person, by phone and in writing.
• Tailor patient and family teaching to learning needs identified in the assessment.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of nursing standards, laws and regulations.
