Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an RN for the 4E General Medical Unit in Arlington Heights, IL. This full-time role covers 7:00pm–7:30am with every-other weekend, offering patient care, assessment and care coordination in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure to practice nursing in Illinois.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to ensure interventions are safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly with patients and colleagues in person, by phone and in writing.
• Educates patient and family based on assessment to meet learning needs.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of nursing practice standards and regulations.
