Job summary

Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL, seeks an RN for the 4E General Medical Unit. This full-time (36 hours/week) night shift runs 7:00pm–7:30am with every other weekend. The compensation starts at $37.25 per hour and increases with experience.

You will perform patient assessments, coordinate plans of care, communicate with patients and families, provide education, participate in quality improvement, and stay current on Illinois nursing standards, licensure, and CPR.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current licensure to practice nursing in Illinois (IL).
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to ensure interventions are safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly with patients, families, and colleagues in person, by phone and in writing.
• Educates patients and families based on patient needs and assessment findings.
• Participates in evaluating nursing practice through quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintains current knowledge of nursing practice standards, laws, and regulations.
