Job summary

Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL is hiring an RN for the 4E General Medical Unit. Duties include patient assessment, coordinating care plans, and clear communication with patients, families and the care team.

This full-time role works 7:00pm–7:30am with every other weekend; pay ranges from $36.00 to $55.80 hourly, with a new minimum of $37.25 starting with the second October paycheck.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly and effectively with patients, families and care teams in person, on the phone and in writing.
• Individually teaches patients and families based on assessments to meet learning needs.
• Participates in evaluating nursing practice quality and effectiveness through quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintains professional knowledge in current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.
