Job summary

Atlantic Health System in Pompton Plains, NJ, seeks a Registered Nurse to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in delivering high-quality patient care. You will monitor patients, administer medications, document findings, and educate patients and families as part of a coordinated care plan.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited nursing degree, RN licensure, and current BLS; BSN or higher is preferred. ACLS is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
• Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
• Records patient vital signs and medical information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
