Atlantic Health Chilton Medical Center in Pompton Plains, NJ, is seeking an Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. This full-time day shift (7a-8p) involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal perioperative care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred; ASN must complete BSN within five years.
• Master’s degree in nursing or related field preferred; 1+ year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
• Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
• Records patient vital signs and medical information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
