Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for Morristown Medical Center. The RN collaborates with a care team to treat patients with injuries, illnesses or disabilities, monitors patients, administers medications, maintains records and educates patients.

Work schedule is per diem, nights (7pm–7:30am) with two weekend shifts per period and four total shifts. Required qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, current RN licensure, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification.
• All ASN must complete their BSN studies within five years of their start date.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
• Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
• Records patient vital signs and medical information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
