Job summary

OU Health seeks an Experienced RN for the Float Pool II to cover night shifts, delivering high-quality care across multiple units. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, document interventions, monitor patients, and assist physicians as needed.

Candidates should have an associate's or bachelor's in nursing, 3–5 years of RN experience, and an active RN license; BLS is required on hire. The Float Pool offers night incentives and growth opportunities within OU Health.

Qualifications

• Current RN license (Oklahoma State Board or compact Multi-State)
• BLS certification required upon hire
• 3–5 years RN experience in patient care, in care area applied for

Responsibilities

• Maintain certifications and competencies for all areas supported in Float Pool.
• Assume responsibility for assigned patient or group of patients.
• Document patient responses and changes in physician orders.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor infusions.
• Provide care safely, collaborating with physicians and staff.
• Communicate care plans to patients and families and refer needs as appropriate.
