Job summary

OU Health is seeking an Experienced RN for the Adult Float Pool at night, providing high-quality hospital care across complex cases. You will maintain certifications, document responses, and support physicians in exams and procedures.

The role emphasizes evidence-based nursing, patient advocacy, and a collaborative team approach. The position requires 3–5 years of RN experience, Oklahoma RN license or compact, and BLS on hire, with a 10k sign-on incentive and night shift differentials to reward

Qualifications

• RN with a nursing degree and Oklahoma license or compact license.
• 3–5 years of patient care experience as an RN in relevant areas.
• Current BLS certification required on hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Maintain certifications and competencies for all float pool areas.
• Document patient responses to interventions and updates to orders.
• Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures.
• Monitor physiological data and intervene as needed.
• Administer prescribed medications and manage IV infusions.
• Provide safe, competent patient care and discharge planning.
• Guide and delegate tasks to clinical support staff as needed.
