Job summary

Texas Health Southwest in Fort Worth is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Float Pool, full-time night shift. You will provide bedside care across units including PCU, Med/Surg and ED Holds.

The role offers self-scheduling, Magnet-certified facility, and opportunities for education and leadership growth; requires RN license, BCLS, ACLS within set times; 1 year experience or RN residency.

Qualifications

• 1 year RN experience or completion of RN residency program
• Med/Surg and Progressive Care experience preferred
• RN license required prior to hire or at start date
• BCLS and ACLS within specified timelines
• CPI training within 90 days of hire
• NIHSS required for ICU/PCU as applicable

Responsibilities

• Delivers care using the Nursing Process
• Assesses the patient, plans care, intervenes as appropriate
• Evaluates effectiveness of interventions and safety measures
• Maintains continuity of patient care across shifts and transfers
• Applies age-specific safety and infection control measures
