Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Resource Float Pool on Med/Surg Tele. This part-time, night-shift role is based at our Fort Worth location and offers opportunities for growth within a Magnet-designated health system.

Requirements include nursing licensure, BCLS, ACLS, and CPI within specified timelines. Prior float pool, Med/Surg, and Tele experience are preferred to ensure high-quality patient care and seamless cross-unit coverage.

Qualifications

• RN license required; BCLS and ACLS training required; CPI training within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients using the Nursing Process
• Assess the patient
• Plan the care of the patient
• Intervene as appropriate
• Evaluate the effectiveness of intervention
• Incorporate age-specific safety/infection control into patient care
• Initiates information for patients and/or family
• Maintains continuity of patient care across shifts and settings
