Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree required; BSN preferred.
• 1 year of RN experience or completion of RN residency required.
• Float Pool, Med/Surg and Tele experience preferred.
• RN license required; BCLS, ACLS and CPI certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process.
• Assesses the patient.
• Plans the care of the patient.
• Intervenes as appropriate.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of intervention.
• Incorporates age-specific safety and infection control measures into patient care.
• Initiates action to meet patient information needs.
• Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift and during transfers.
