Job summary

Deep Creek Health & Rehabilitation in Chesapeake, Virginia is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide resident-centered care in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting.

We offer 7-7 FT or PT night shifts with $2.00 night differential and pay range of $38.00–$43.45 per hour. Benefits include same day pay, comprehensive health and retirement plans, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Excellent technical, assessment and documentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Team player with strong communication and passion for senior care.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per standards of practice, physician orders, and center policies.
• Plan and monitor nursing interventions for each resident.
• Evaluate care effectiveness and adjust interventions as needed.
• Educate residents and families.
• Administer medications and treatments per policy.
• Transcribe orders and document progress accurately.
• Report condition changes to supervisor, physician, and family.
• Coordinate rehabilitation with therapists.
