Job summary

Lake Health District in Lakeview, Oregon is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts (11:45 PM–6:15 AM) with rotating schedule, working in Emergency Room and MedSurg. This non-exempt, union, benefited position requires clinical leadership and a strong focus on patient safety and compassionate care.

Requires Oregon RN license, BLS, and Nursing degree; ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC certifications expected after hire. One year of acute care experience preferred; PALS encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.
• Current RN license in Oregon is required.
• BLS certification is required at start of employment.
• ACLS, NRP, ENPC and TNCC certifications are expected as soon as available after hire.
• Acute and Post Partum unit check off is required after hire.
• PALS certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans.
• Serve as a clinical leader, supporting and guiding nursing staff to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care for patients.
• Function calmly in emergent situations and manage peak workload times while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate with physicians and hospital staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
