Job summary

Lake Health District in Lakeview, Oregon seeks a Registered Nurse for a full-time days schedule (36–40 hrs/wk) with shifts in Surgery and Med/Surg. The RN will circulate during procedures and support recovery post-anesthesia, delivering care per perioperative standards.

This non-exempt, union position includes shared call, benefits, and requires an Oregon RN license, current BLS, and ideally ACLS/NRP/PALS as they become available; CNOR encouraged.

Qualifications

• Current RN license from Oregon State Board of Nursing.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• BSN preferred.
• ACLS/NRP/PALS certifications as available after hire.
• One year of clinical nursing experience; surgery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care from pre-op to post-anesthesia recovery.
• Circulating nurse during surgery and recovery room nurse post-anesthesia.
• Lead and supervise staff; delegate tasks where appropriate.
• Educate patients and families; maintain confidentiality and professional image.
