Job summary

Lake Health District seeks a Registered Nurse for the OB and MedSurg units on a full-time night shift with 12-hour rotations.

You will provide compassionate, high-quality care to mothers and newborns, use the nursing process, and serve as a clinical resource for staff.

Requirements include Oregon RN licensure, BLS, and acute care experience; ACLS/NRP/STABLE certifications should be pursued after hire and on probation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license from the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE and Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring certification as soon as available after hire.
• Acute and Post Partum unit check off required after hire.
• PALS certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality obstetric and newborn care.
• Lead nursing staff and promote safe, patient-centered care.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and postpartum instructions.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and effective communication with team.
• Respond calmly in emergent situations and manage peak workflow times.
