Job summary

AdventHealth in Greenwood Village, CO seeks an experienced ED Registered Nurse for night shifts (4pm-4am). You will assess patients, create and adjust care plans, administer medications, educate families, and coordinate care with the healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

The role requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing, RN license, and at least 2 years of ED experience. Sign-on and relocation options are available; professional development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Current RN license and BLS required.
• Minimum 2 years ED RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments across physiological, psychological, and spiritual factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and reassess regularly.
• Administer medications/treatments per orders; monitor for adverse effects.
• Educate patients and families to promote understanding and self-care.
• Collaborate with the care team to coordinate patient flow and care.
• Document care activities and outcomes accurately in the medical record.
• Ensure infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Respond to codes and provide prompt interventions when needed.
