Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Northglenn, CO. The role is full-time, night shift (1900–0700) with four weekend shifts per eight weeks and holiday coverage. Requires active RN license, BLS, and ED experience; PALS/ACLS/NIHHS preferred.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice; compact licenses must transfer within 60 days.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain a BSN within four years of hire date.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Assess: perform comprehensive assessment of physical, social, and psychological status and gather information from the care team.
• Plan: collaboratively develop an individualized plan of care with patient and family involvement.
• Implement: direct care team coordination and ensure care aligns with plan and licensure.
• Evaluate: review outcomes, revise plan as needed, and reassess changes.
• Professionalism: maintain ethics, regulatory compliance, documentation, and professional conduct.
