Job summary

Oaklawn Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift (12pm–12:30am) in Emergency Services. Provide professional nursing care, exercise independent judgment, and lead the nursing patient care team while documenting patient status and treatment responses.

The ideal candidate holds MI RN licensure, BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications, with TNCC within a year preferred. Must use EMR and infection prevention standards, collaborate across disciplines, and participate in performance

Qualifications

• Current MI RN licensure required
• BLS from ARC/ACLS/PALS certifications
• TNCC certification within one year preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care with independent judgment across all phases of the nursing process.
• Direct and collaborate with the nursing care team and other disciplines.
• Document patient care, condition, reactions and responses to treatment in a timely manner.
