Job summary

Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall, MI is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time overnight Emergency Services (7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.). You will apply critical thinking and the nursing process to ensure patient comfort, safety and well-being across all care phases.

Responsibilities include directing the nursing team, collaborating with other disciplines, documenting patient care promptly in the EMR, following infection prevention standards, and contributing to continuous quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan RN licensure is required.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications are required.
• TNCC certification must be obtained within one year.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, compassionate nursing care using critical thinking and the nursing process.
• Direct and supervise the nursing team and collaborate with other disciplines.
• Document patient care and responses in EMR in a timely manner.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards, and participate in quality improvement.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and treatments.
