Job summary

Advocate Health Kings Mountain is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the 2N Medical unit on night shift. This full-time position involves 36 hours per week with rotating weekends as required and a focus on delivering evidence-based nursing care to diverse patients.

You will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, collaborate with the care team, maintain documentation in the electronic health record, and participate in safety and quality initiatives

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with multi-state or single-state privileges.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be needed by specialty.

Responsibilities

• Engage in governance and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Utilize nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans with the care team.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation and promote safety.
• Float to other units as needed within the service area.
• Provide patient- and family-centered care with effective communication.
