Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Massachusetts is seeking a Registered Nurse (Non-Exempt) for the 3 - Night Shift, 8 Hours, with 24 hours weekly. The role focuses on direct patient care using the nursing process and collaborative teamwork.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, discharge planning, and coordinating care across the care team. Massachusetts licensure and BLS are required; ACLS preferred. A BSN is highly preferred and a signing bonus may be available.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is required for every RN unless ACLS certification is current.
• ACLS certification and unit-specific certifications may be required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment.
• Develops and coordinates plan of care including discharge planning.
• Directs and evaluates nursing care within the assigned setting.
• Delegates appropriately to others per competency and job description.
