Job summary

High Point Medical Center, part of Advocate Health, is seeking an experienced RN to support the Intermediate Care (Overflow) unit. The 4-bed unit cares for patients transferred from ICU and is staffed with 1 RN and 1 Nurse Tech, with telemetry monitoring and IV medications required.

Responsibilities include delivering comprehensive patient care, using evidence-based practice, and coordinating care to ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited nursing program.
• RN license issued by the state where the teammate practices.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
