Job summary

Advocate Health's High Point Medical Center in North Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Observation Unit (12-bed medical-surgical). The role involves 3 twelve-hour night shifts weekly (7:00 pm–7:30 am) with weekend rotation, 36 hours per week, and full-time status.

You will provide and coordinate patient care using the nursing process, maintain patient safety and comfort, and participate in cross-training toward the Clinical Decision Unit after six months.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state where the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Greater than 1 year of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Maintain safety and comfort, delivering therapeutic care per standards, policies, and procedures.
