Job summary

Houston Medical Center - AMG Specialty Hospital is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for night shifts. Our RNs provide direct and indirect patient care in the long-term acute care setting. Communicate with physicians/CCO/co-workers about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.

Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. ICU and/or critical care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current Texas Registered Nurse Licensure.
• ICU/critical care experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Able to communicate effectively and positively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Additional languages desirable.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the long-term acute care setting.
• Communicate with physicians, CCOs, and co-workers about changes in patient condition and diagnostic results.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
