Job summary

Monarch Healthcare in Concord, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse for Crisis & Urgent Care Services. You will oversee paraprofessionals and provide direct nursing care to individuals served by the Behavioral Health Division, applying evidence-based practices.

The role requires an associate degree in nursing and RN licensure; crisis management or behavioral health experience is required. Shifts are 7pm-7am, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing (required).
• RN licensure by State Board of Nursing (required).
• 1 year of crisis management or behavioral health experience.
• Experience with children or adults in behavioral health capacity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee paraprofessionals and provide direct nursing care to individuals served by the Behavioral Health Division.
• Carry out treatment and supportive care as directed by the Prescriber or VP of Operations.
• Assess appropriateness for services, health status, medical history, medications, and compliance.
• Educate individuals on mental illness and substance use disorder; contribute to discharge/referral plans.
• Monitor health and safety; crisis intervention as needed; observe response to medication.
• Attend meetings/trainings; maintain required certifications; follow policies/regulations.
• Complete other duties as assigned; driving/travel may be required.
