Job summary

Monarch Healthcare in Concord, NC is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to oversee paraprofessionals and provide direct nursing care within our Behavioral Health Division. The RN will implement treatment and supportive care per prescriber directions, ensuring safety and quality of care.

You will monitor health status, document functioning, and support discharge planning while maintaining compliance with agency and regulatory requirements. Travel may be required as part of duties.

Qualifications

• Crisis management experience providing crisis response (1 year recommended).
• Experience working with children or adults in a behavioral health capacity (1 year required).
• Associate degree in nursing is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document individuals' health and mental status.
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs and reactions.
• Educate individuals about mental illness and substance use disorders.
• Coordinate with prescribers and supervisors on care plans.
• Ensure appropriate referrals for higher levels of care when needed.
• Attend meetings and maintain required trainings and certifications.
