Care Initiatives in Corydon, IA is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care in a skilled nursing setting on nights, full-time. Join a compassionate team focused on resident-centered care and regulatory compliance while supporting daily clinical operations on the unit.

You’ll administer medications, monitor residents, communicate with families, document care, and collaborate with CNAs, LPNs and providers.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing (Iowa) or ability to activate.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge of federal/state long-term care regulations and laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment.
• Support daily clinical operations on the unit, ensuring quality care and resident safety.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
• Collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, providers and other team members to promote high-quality care.
• Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care needs.
• Document care accurately to meet clinical, regulatory, and facility standards.
• Follow infection control, safety, and compliance protocols at all times.
