Care Initiatives in Corydon, IA is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time or part-time evening shifts (2PM-10PM) in a 71-bed skilled nursing community. Join a compassionate care team across Iowa.

You will provide direct nursing care, administer medications, monitor residents, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team. Iowa RN license, CPR, and knowledge of long-term care regulations are required. Competitive wage and robust benefits offered.

Qualifications

Valid Iowa RN license in good standing.
Current CPR certification.
Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment.
Support daily clinical operations on the unit, ensuring quality care and resident safety.
Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
Collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, providers, and other team members to promote teamwork and high-quality care.
Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care needs.
Document care accurately to meet clinical, regulatory, and facility standards.
Follow infection control, safety, and compliance protocols at all times.
