Job summary

AdventHealth Denver is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide leadership and coordinate unit operations during the night shift. You will guide staffing, ensure safe patient care, and act as liaison with the multidisciplinary team.

You will participate in hiring, support ongoing education, monitor costs, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while upholding AdventHealth's healing mission.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• ACLS, BLS, and specialized nursing certifications are expected.
• RN license active and in good standing with state board.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, support, and coordination of unit’s daily operations during designated shift.
• Assist in directing, organizing, and prioritizing shift activities for patient care and staff needs.
• Participate in interviewing and selection of new staff; provide feedback on performance.
• Monitor supply usage and costs to ensure fiscal accountability at the unit level.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards; delegate tasks appropriately.
• Serve as role model for ethical and professional nursing practice; support ongoing learning.
