Job summary

AdventHealth in Denver, CO is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to coordinate patient care across PACU, inpatient units, Radiology and anesthesia, and to develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessments.

You will monitor progress, collaborate with physicians and staff, manage daily schedules, supervise staff, educate patients and families, respond to emergencies, and participate in quality improvement to uphold high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Requires RN with active license and multiple specialty certifications as listed.
• Acute/critical care CNS, EV accreditation and professional credentials required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; ongoing education expected.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care across PACU, inpatient units, Radiology and anesthesia.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessments and orders.
• Monitor progress, adjust care plans as needed and document outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists and other providers for coordinated care.
• Manage daily schedules, organize endoscopy scheduling, staffing and equipment.
• Prioritize patient needs by acuity; ensure timely care and effective communication.
• Supervise nursing assistants and support staff; educate patients and families.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Associate's Degree in Nursing

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

ACNS / EV Accredited Certifications

APRN / EV Accredited Certifications

BLS CPR

CET / CNOR / CHEMO / CEFM / ENPC

NIHSS / NRP / TNCC / TNCC / OCN
