Job summary

AdventHealth in Denver, CO is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a night shift on a full-time basis. The role focuses on coordinating patient care across PACU, inpatient units, Radiology and anesthesia, with individualized care plans and active collaboration with the healthcare team.

Required are extensive nursing qualifications including CCNS/APRN, BLS, CNOR, CHEMO, NRP, ENPC and RN licensure. Ongoing education and patient-family education are part of daily responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing with current licensure.
• Clinical expertise in acute/critical care environments.
• Active certifications in listed specialties are required or EV Accredited.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care across PACU, inpatient units, Radiology and anesthesia.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessments.
• Monitor progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists and other providers for coordinated care.
• Manage daily schedules, endoscopy staffing and equipment availability.
• Prioritize patient needs by acuity and urgency for timely care.
• Support staff with procedures, equipment and patient care guidance.
• Facilitate communication among team members to ensure continuity of care.
• Supervise nursing assistants and ensure adherence to standards.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and self-management.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and stabilize patients.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to maintain high standards.
